Homework:
Homework is the “hot topic” for all middle school students. I do not typically assign a great deal of homework. Why, you may ask?
Our class time is divided between these activities: group instruction, practice, and remediation/acceleration. I feel that if you child is engaged in learning the entire block period, they will not have homework. During the “practice” time, your child will have the opportunity to check answers and complete any assignments right in class. This allows me to answer any questions your child may have.
The “jist” of homework, if your child is attentive, participating, and working in class, they will not have homework.
